Year 1 - Summer Camp under a tent!

In addition to growing up going to camps, Eddie served on summer staff during college, and traveled for 15 years to camps across the nation as a music leader and speaker. The desire to start a camp had been on his dreams list since college.

He and Sarah purchased what is now Sabine Creek Ranch in the fall of 2003. The 300+ acres of beautiful pastures on this working cattle and equestrian ranch are adjacent to several thousand acres of flood plain, creating an oasis of country surroundings in the face of the ever-approaching suburbs.

It has been evident since the beginning that God has provided just the right people and the right resources with His perfect timing to enable all of this to happen. In just a few short years, an amazing amount has been accomplished. Best of all, thousands of kids are building the memories and relationships of a lifetime, and the life-change they experience at Sabine Creek Ranch will set them on a trajectory that they will enjoy forever!
